A 46-year-old man was fatally shot by a woman in West Garfield Park, Chicago, during a Wednesday night altercation.
The tragic incident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m. on the 4300 block of West Maypole Avenue, resulted in the victim succumbing to multiple gunshot wounds at Mount Sinai Hospital, as detailed by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Police took the suspect, a concealed carry permit holder, into custody for investigation, according to ABC7 Chicago.
