On Sunday, October 15th, a stabbing occurred in the usually quiet Logan Square neighborhood. The victim, a 25-year-old woman, was attacked inside the Bubbleland laundromat, located on the 2200 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. according to the Chicago Tribune. The male assailant, age unknown, entered the laundromat with the apparent intention to harm, armed with a knife.

As reported by ABC7 Chicago, the woman sustained several stab wounds on her chest and legs. The perpetrator then quickly left the scene, heading south on Milwaukee Avenue. 

The victim was rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.

The Chicago Police Department and Area Five detectives have initiated a full investigation, although there are currently no suspects in custody.
