As of October 15, Pacific Beach's culinary scene welcomes a new addition, Döner! Döner! Kebab Kitchen, is the latest eatery to find a home at the 108-seat communal dining venue, Mission + Garnet. According to Eater San Diego, this Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern-influenced food spot aims to serve not only the nighttime crowd but also daytime customers, and will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day.
Scott Slater, the established restaurateur, is the proud owner of Döner! Döner! Kebab Kitchen. Echoing an immersive blend of traditional and current food trends, the eatery focuses on customizable meals perfect for busy San Diego residents. Their press release highlights a versatile menu featuring build-your-own plates, salads, and wraps with protein offerings like carved gyro meat, grilled marinated chicken or shrimp, and falafel. An assortment of sides and sauces, including herbed feta and fire-roasted tomato, complement their dishes, and the catering service is also a part of the dining experience.
The grand opening coincided with National Shawarma Day, marked with a $5 Shawarma Wrap special. Early bird customers were treated to complimentary Kebab Krunchwraps and gifted membership to the Mission + Garnet Rewards program. Community figures including Chamber of Commerce members, local government officials, and community leaders came out to support the launch, underscoring the value of the new eatery to the local economy and growing food sector.
In addition to serving delectable food, the eatery is pledged to contribute to the community.
