Yesterday evening, a 60-year-old woman was severely injured when struck by a 2001 Buick Century while crossing W. Point Loma Boulevard, a result of a tragic collision reported in Point Loma Heights, San Diego. The motorist involved was a 67-year-old individual, according to Nextdoor news report.
The pedestrian sustained numerous serious injuries including a fractured left ankle, facial fractures, and internal bleeding, as per Times of San Diego report.
Based on the current investigations by the San Diego Police Department, neither drug nor alcohol use appears to have contributed to the incident.
