In a recent incident in San Ramon, California, a golfer fell victim to a $2,000 fraud by a supposed fellow golf enthusiast.
According to a post on the San Ramon Police Department's Facebook page, the victim had been promised a set of high-end golf clubs. Following his investigation, Officer Tyrovolas managed to find and detain the suspect whilst they were in the middle of a game on a local golf course.
The suspect is now facing charges relating to fraud and other outstanding warrants from several counties.
