NBC Boston reports that the event deeply impacted visitors who had lost loved ones in service. Among the visitors was Army veteran Ian Rollins, who honored his late friend, Sgt. First Class Jared Monti, killed in Afghanistan in 2006. Rollins described Monti as a kind soul who would do anything for everyone, up to and including sacrificing his own life for his teammates.
