
The Chicago Police Department apprehended Norbert Thigpen, 36, last Saturday in Gurnee, Illinois, after he allegedly committed an armed robbery in the 8th District of Chicago according to a police department release.
Thigpen was taken into custody mere hours after the crime was committed, showcasing the rapid and efficient response by law enforcement.
For his alleged crimes, Thigpen now faces two felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm and a third charge of fleeing police. His detention hearing is to be held on November 13.
