On November 8, near Interstate 57 in Forest View, Chicago, Benigno Ramirez-Moreno was apprehended for allegedly attempting to murder a woman, according to CBS News. The 39-year-old suspect is accused of stabbing the 41-year-old victim multiple times leaving her severely injured. The Illinois State Police are currently investigating the incident.
The assault occurred on the southbound I-57 near Harlem Avenue. On answering the distress call, officers found the victim with multiple stab injuries. She was quickly transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. The investigators soon identified Ramirez-Moreno as the suspect, and he was apprehended on Tuesday, according to Fox 32 Chicago.
