On Tuesday, 23-year-old Jayder Gutierrez of W. Hollywood Ave., Chicago, was charged with the first-degree attempted murder of a 20-year-old male.
The attack took place in the 1600 block of W. Summerdale Ave. according to a police statement.
Gutierrez was arrested shortly after the incident and awaits a detention hearing at 2600 S. California on the 15th.
