On November 8, separate shootings in Chicago left two teenagers wounded, making them the seventh and eighth children aged 16 and under to be shot within the past eight days.
In another incident, the Chicago Tribune reports a 15-year-old was shot from a passing vehicle in Auburn Gresham, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
This young victim was taken to Comer Children's Hospital for critical care.
