Four men were injured in several shootings across Chicago, a continuation of urban violence incidents that have set the city on edge. The incidents highlight an emerging pattern of violence against unsuspecting individuals caught in the crossfire.

An 18-year-old was injured earlier this week, November 15, in the 2200 block of N Kilbourn. The two unidentified shooters targeted him, striking him in the head. The victim survived the attack and was reported to be in fair condition at Stroger Hospital, according to Chicago Police Department.

The next day, on the 6700 block of S. East End, a 31-year-old male became a shooting victim after gunshots suddenly rang out, striking his left leg. He was taken to the University of Chicago and is in fair condition. No suspects have been detained in this case as of yet, reported by the Chicago Police Department.

Also on November 16, an incident occurred in which a 29-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the back. He was first taken to Rush hospital, then transferred to Stroger, where he too was reported to be in fair condition, as per Chicago Police Department.

Lastly, a 30-year-old male was admitted to the Little Company of Mary hospital on November 16 after being shot in the buttocks. He is also reportedly in fair condition. The victim is not cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation, and there have been no arrests made so far in accord with the Chicago Police Department.
