Many organizations, institutions, and societies actively work to bridge the digital divide in our communities and deserve mention. Examples are Girls Who Code, striving to address the gender gap in tech and change the image of programmers, and Code.org, a nonprofit offering computer science education, including free programming tools and courses to schools and students around the world.
