
A 92-year-old man was arrested in Englewood yesterday, following an alleged shooting incident. He is accused of wounding a 43-year-old woman in the arm. The assault took place within a residence at 5800 South Aberdeen Street, and the woman was subsequently transported to UChicago Medicine in stable condition, according to the Chicago Tribune.
As of now, the elderly man has been taken into police custody. A number of firearms were also found at the scene by investigating authorities, FOX 32 Chicago details.
The motive behind the confrontation between the 92-year-old man and the 43-year-old woman remains undetermined. Authorities are investigating the case.
