
On November 1st, an accident on Interstate 93 south in Derry, New Hampshire, involving a tractor-trailer and a Lexus sedan resulted in one fatality. Detailed by NBC Boston, the crash occurred just after 6 p.m., causing all southbound lanes of I-93 to be closed for hours.
Luciano Miguel Garone, the 26-year-old driver of the tractor-trailer, collided from behind into the Lexus ES 350 sedan, setting both vehicles aflame. The firefighters had to wait for tankers due to the lack of an immediate water source. WMUR reports that the fire was extinguished in about 16 minutes after the arrival of the tankers. The highway was reopened around 11:15 p.m.
