A hunting incident occurred on Saturday in Blandford, Massachusetts, when a hunter was accidentally shot with an arrow by his hunting companion. The arrow struck the hunter in the woods off Russell Stage Road in Blandford as reported by WHDH.
The shooting party to called the Massachusetts State Police around 3:00 PM, reporting the accident according to WWLP.
After a swift response the authorities, including the Russell Police and Fire departments, environmental police, and the Massachusetts State Police found the hunters north of the 32.4-mile marker on the Mass Pike around 4:00 PM. By 5:00 PM, the injured was out the woods and transported to, a nearby hospital for treatment as per WWLP
