Recently, officers from Boston Police Department's Bureau of Community Engagement and District C-11 took part in an introductory boxing class for a local youth girls group in South Boston's Condon Community Center. By engaging in such initiatives, the officers aim to foster healthier relationships with community members and positively impact local youth. The boxing class is a part of a wider strategy to provide novel experiences and mentorship for the girls as stated on the BPD website.
