Rushville, Illinois witnessed an alarming incident recently. Resident Dallas Wilcoxen, 30, was detained on accusations of traveling to meet a minor, solicitation, and grooming, according to Fox Illinois.
On October 19, the Illinois State Police (ISP) was contacted by local law enforcement after reports suggested that Wilcoxen had engaged with underage females online, My Journal Courier reports. Following this, Wilcoxen traveled to Beardstown intending to meet with one of the girls, aged 14. His arrest occurred upon his arrival there and he is now held in Schuyler County Jail, pending a detention hearing. Further investigation of the case continues, and more information has yet to be released.
