In Salem, Massachusetts, a strange event occurred on Halloween night. A man in a "Chucky" costume from the "Child's Play" series reportedly spat on an MBTA bus driver after a route detour meant to avoid Halloween festivities. This incident was covered by both Boston 25 News and Boston.com.
The police noted that it was around 5 p.m. on Halloween when the bus driver decided to change his route. This action infuriated the passenger dressed as Chucky. The passenger reacted by spitting on the driver and fleeing quickly on foot.
The suspect, described as wearing dark sunglasses and having tattoos on his neck and hand, has not been located. Anyone who can identify this individual is urged to call 617-222-1050. The MBTA Transit Police assured callers that their identities would remain anonymous, according Boston.com.
