On October 29, a shooting incident at a Halloween party in Chicago resulted in 15 victims, painting a gruesome scene of violence. The suspect was apprehended due to the relentless pursuit of the Chicago Police Department (CPD).

CPD officers from the 10th and 11th Districts responded promptly in to the shooting site on the 1200 block of South Pulaski Rd. Utilizing gunshot detection technology, multiple 911 calls, and a radio broadcast of the shooter's description, the suspect was arrested earlier today as reported by CPD.
During the encounter, the suspect tried to escape, resulting in a brief chase. The officers were able to apprehend him just as he attempted to pull out his weapon. The firearm was safely secured, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. The perpetrator faces charges of 15 counts of attempted murder, 15 counts of aggravated battery discharge of a firearm, one count of aggravated discharge of a firearm, and one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon as per the Chicago Police Department.
