The flames had grown quickly, requiring further assistance. The 4-story brick structure reportedly housed apartments and an H&R Block office, per NBC Boston. The intensity of the heat led to a shattering of the building's glass door. Approximately 20 residents' lives were disrupted in this distressing incident.
There were no reported injuries. The fire was successfully contained to the first floor, according to WHDH. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
