Today, Union City police officers attended to a disturbed commercial alarm at Lemonnade Dispensary, a Union City local enterprise. Per the Union City Police Department report, multiple suspects were observed trying to gain illicit entry into the dispensary, although no suspects were found upon the officers' arrival.
Suspecting it to be a related incident, Flor Dispensary's on-site security personnel reported a similar break-in. Upon quick arrival at the scene, officers found numerous culprits. Though the suspects attempted to escape, officers apprehended three juveniles from Oakland, California, and charged them with commercial burglary.
The Union City Police Department has thanked the supporting Fremont Police Department and disclosed that its Investigation Unit is exploring the incidents for potential links to broader criminal activity.
