The Chicago Police Department is casting a wide net in the hopes of locating a missing 21-year-old man, Elijah Looper, who vanished over a week ago and was last spotted on the South Side, triggering a citywide search effort. Looper, a 6-foot-2-inch tall male with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium brown complexion, has been missing since November 15th, according to a bulletin issued by the CPD and subsequently published on their official website.
Looper, describes as 200 pounds and is identified by his black race, disappeared without trace after last being contacted at around 5:19 pm last Wednesday near 3745 S.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to step forward and shed light on Elijah's whereabouts, as those familiar with the young man's routine say his sudden departure from the daily patterns of life is both uncharacteristic and alarming.
