A 20-year-old man is behind bars following his arrest in connection to a fatal drive-by shooting that occurred this past June in Decatur, Georgia. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Kaleb Fisher, of Stone Mountain, was arrested on December 8 at an Atlanta residence. The operation was a joint effort by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit and the Georgia State Patrol SWAT. Fisher is accused of gunning down 19-year-old Demario Hollis and wounding Jerry Toney, also 19, in a drive-by shooting near Wesley Chapel Road and Snapfinger Woods Drive.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office stated that the arrest went down without any trouble. Following his apprehension, Fisher was transported to the DeKalb County Jail, where he is currently held without bond. He faces several charges, including murder and aggravated assault with a weapon, in connection with the deadly incident that unfolded on June 26.
Details of Fisher's involvement were first reported by Atlanta News First, which also confirmed the fatality and injury resulting from the drive-by shooting. The motive behind Fisher's alleged actions has not been disclosed, and it's unclear if he has a lawyer representing him at this time.
Fisher remains held, awaiting legal proceedings to answer for the serious charges against him.
