Beantown cops traded their badges for Santa hats this weekend as they joined the annual Harvard Club of Boston Family Christmas Party. According to the Boston Police Department's release, officers from the Bureau of Community Engagement brought holiday cheer to the festive gathering yesterday.
The event was a hit among the kids attending, who, per the police release, enjoyed a Christmas meal and engaged in activities such as stuffing their own “build a bear," decorating cookies, and penning their wish lists to Santa Claus.
The officers on deck, taking a break from their usual beat, were seen assisting the young participants with their crafts and supervising the heartwarming activities.
