
Cambridge Recreation is aiming to score big with the youth of Cambridge, announcing the opening of applications for the Shoot Straight Basketball League. This initiative is set to provide local kids in grades 3-6 with an invaluable opportunity to not only spruce up their basketball skills but also to learn the ropes of teamwork and the value of sportsmanship.
According to a post from the official Cambridge, MA's X account, boys and girls in the designated age bracket have until January 2 to apply to join the league. This winter program is shaping up to not only keep the kids busy but also to instill in them the critical life skills that come with playing sports.
