Kenneth Mosby, a 23-year-old resident of the 8800 block of S. Burley Ave. in Chicago now faces one felony count for attempted first-degree murder and one for aggravated battery with a firearm, authorities announced.
According to the Chicago Police Department's press release, Mosby was apprehended on Thursday, November 30, in the 2100 block of S. First Ave. in Maywood, Illinois. He was identified as the shooter in the November 28th incident, which occurred in the 0-100 block of E. Garfield Blvd., within the 2nd District, the suspect was placed into custody and charged accordingly.
The infant, whose identity has not been disclosed, remains in critical condition following the attack.
