The Chicago Police Department has charged 27-year-old Gary Jamerson in connection with an armed robbery that took place last month. Jamerson, a resident of the 900 block of N. Long Ave. in Chicago stands accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint on the night of November 20, the CPD reported.
The incident occurred in Chicago's 700 block of N. Trumbull Ave., where, at approximately 8:27 p.m., a 33-year-old female was robbed of her property. The CPD's Vehicular Hijacking Team managed to hastily arrest the offender on December 18, 2023, near the 3100 block of W. Flournoy St., according to the police statement.
Jamerson, who has been charged with one felony count of robbery armed with a firearm, is to appear at a detention hearing today in the courtroom at 2600 S. California.
