Crews are all set to connect a new water main essential for the building's fire safety system, which means digging across the busy road.

The nighttime closures, slated to kick off at 10 p.m. today and run until 5:30 a.m. for three nights, are sure to test the patience of late-night travelers. All of this is scheduled to wrap up by Christmas Eve, weather permitting. The closure will resume after a brief holiday reprieve, starting again at 10 p.m. on January 2 and is expected to last until January 11. According to a Facebook post by the City of Concord, during these closures, Willow Pass Road will be off-limits between East Street, and Port Chicago Highway.

The sidewalks along Willow Pass Road will remain open for those on foot, ensuring pedestrians can still stroll through the area.
