Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport was struck by tragedy as a 37-year-old woman met a tragic end when she fell from an exterior walkway at the airport and was later pronounced dead, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The unnamed woman who leaped from the airport walkway did so with a finality that left onlookers and officials grappling with the stark reality of her action.
Law enforcement has since engaged in a simple death investigation, awaiting the autopsy results set for Sunday.
