A 16-year-old male is facing grave charges of vehicular hijacking and possession of burglary tools. The Chicago Police Department announced the apprehension of the teen after an ordeal that left a 27-year-old woman forcefully deprived of her vehicle.
The CPD's Vehicular Hijacking Task Force managed to snag the minor suspect on Sunday, December 3, just hours following the reported heist. The swift crackdown occurred at approximately 3:04 p.m. on the 1300 block of W. 16th St.
The incident transpired on the bustling stretch of the 800 block of S. Miller St.
The teen is now put under custody and charged accordingly.
