A chilling family dispute led to bloodshed in San Marcos just days before Christmas when a woman was allegedly stabbed by her daughter. The attack, which occurred in the afternoon of December 22, has shaken the local community.

Authorities were called to the 1200 block of San Elijo Road shortly after 5:00 p.m., where deputies discovered the injured woman. Despite her wounds, she managed to inform the officers that the assailant was, in fact, her 27-year-old daughter. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was promptly taken to a hospital and is reported to be recovering from non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, identified as Anzy McWha with a birth date of December 26, 1995, has been arrested on charges of assault. Following the apprehension, McWha was booked into the Vista Detention Facility where she awaits legal proceedings.
