The Chicago community is on high alert as efforts to locate 67-year-old Morris Harris intensify. Harris, who was last observed vacating his residence on the 1700 block of Laramie on October 27, 2023, according to a report from the Chicago Police Department, remains missing and the subject of growing concern among residents and law enforcement.
"Frequents the area of Golf Road and Waukegan Road in Morton Grove," says the CPD, noting the usual haunts of the vanished senior, a man described as having a medium complexion, brown eyes, gray hair, a height of 5'10", and weighing around 180 pounds, he also bears a distinct scar atop his head as an identifying feature.
In an appeal to the public, the CPD has distributed a notice delineating Harris's physical attributes and the last known contact details to spur citizen-led efforts in the search.
Detectives from Area 5 Special Victims Unit have opened their lines, requesting anyone with information to step forward and dial 312-746-6554.
