An 18-year-old suspect is now facing charges following a shooting that occurred last month outside a Pizza Hut in Lynn, leaving three people injured. The Lynn Police Department announced the arrest of Delvin Sanchez, taken into custody in Peabody on Wednesday, as reported by MassLive.
Sanchez is to immediately appear in court for charges including armed assault to murder, accessory before the fact, and accessory after the fact. The violent incident in question happened near the Pizza Hut, located at 39 State St, around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26. Details provided by the CBS Boston News indicate that the doors of the restaurant were left with bullet holes and shattered glass, but it remains uncertain whether the shooting took place inside or outside the establishment.
Three victims were transported to the hospital with serious injuries after the incident. Authorities at the time believed that the shooting was targeted. The investigation carried on, leading to the recent arrest, with police initially having been on the lookout for the individuals responsible. A witness at the scene recounted to Hoodline seeing three young men leaving the restaurant just before the chaos of gunfire and squealing tires ensued.

It just happens. It's sad," said Ignaury Ortega, a local who witnessed the aftermath, in an interview with Hoodline.
