The tumultuous weather should abate by Sunday, which will be mostly cloudy with a high near 49 degrees, albeit accompanied by robust western winds blowing at about 15 mph and capable of surging up to 30 mph. As Atlanta heads into Sunday night, forecasts anticipate the mercury to dip to around 39 degrees under mainly clouded skies and continuing gusty conditions.
Monday promises a respite from the past few days' gloom: the outlook is bright and sunny with a high of around 51 degrees and winds calming down a notch, making for a mostly clear Monday night with a low of about 33 degrees. According to the extended forecast, the remainder of the week looks equally benign with sunlit skies and climbing temperatures peaking at a comfortable 61 degrees by Friday.
