The fire, which was reported to have been heavily active upon the crew's arrival, required aggressive action to bring under control. No civilians were harmed since the house was unoccupied, and thus no one was displaced by the fire. Details of the incident were further evidenced by bystander video which captured the pre-arrival condition of the property, according to Austin Fire Info's social media post.
The Austin Fire Department continues to investigate the sequence of events leading up to the fire and is expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
