Rondell Edwards, who was reported missing over the weekend, was found dead inside his 2003 Toyota Highlander on Monday, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office officials.
The discovery near North University Drive and Southgate Boulevard followed after his fiancee tracked Edwards' phone to the Tamarac area, where, the car with his remains was eventually located, as stated by WSVN. Neighbors, in their shock, recounted that Edwards was well-liked in the community, often lending a hand with groceries and other chores. "She just came and put this on my door this morning, she said she hadn’t heard from her husband since Saturday. When I saw them pull up the car I knew it was his car," one neighbor, revealed the heart-wrenching efforts of Edwards' wife in an interview with NBC 6.
Edwards, a father to three small children, was a maintenance man at a development across from where his vehicle was found.
