Buc-ee's, the Texas-based travel center giant, is set to expand its presence along Georgia's coast with a new location in Brunswick. Strategically situated just a short distance from sought-after vacation destinations like Jekyll Island, St. Simons, and Sea Island, the groundbreaking for this outpost is scheduled for January 29th. The Brunswick location, flagged to be the largest in Georgia, will unfold across a whopping 74,000 square feet and feature a staggering 120 pumps for the road tripper's refueling delight, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

Buc-ee's will dole out its array of snacks and Beaver Nuggets as it puts down roots off the well-trod I-95; local politicos like Thomas "Wayne" Neal, Buddy Carter, and other notables will be pitching in at the ceremonial shovel-wielding for this third Georgia installment, which will lob more than 200 full-time jobs with decent pay and benefits into the local economy, benefits that aim to boost Brunswick's fortunes, Newswire details.

Buc-ee's roots burrow deep into 1982, birthing out of Texas and branching far and wide with 47 stores across the South—sprouting outwards since 2019.
