
Two individuals were injured following a shooting in Buckeye, triggering an investigation by local authorities. The shooting victims, whose identity and condition have yet to be disclosed, sought aid at a fire station with gunshot wounds. According to 12 News, the incident took place near 253rd and Long avenues, but further details on the suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.
Shortly after the noon hour, Buckeye Police Officers rushed to a Buckeye Fire station at Central Avenue and Miller Road, where the victims, found with bullet wounds, were being treated. Navigating a distance of about half a mile, the wounded managed to reach the fire station from the scene of the crime, as reported by AZ Family. The seriousness of their injuries is still unknown.
So far, the authorities have not been successful in locating a suspect and are continuing their search. The investigation is ongoing, and Buckeye Police urge anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward.
