The jubilation of a football game turned tragic on Sunday night as a dispute near Hard Rock Stadium led to the shooting death of a Canadian Bills fan, Originally from Buffalo. Family members have identified the deceased as Dylan Isaacs, 30, who had journeyed south to witness his beloved team clash with the Miami Dolphins.
Isaacs was leaving the stadium with friends when a vehicle struck him, according to his aunt Cecelia Skye. In the heat of the moment, Isaacs and a companion pursued the car as it attempted to flee the scene. "To our understanding, they were walking to their vehicle and a car had pulled out, and hit Dylan," Skye told NBC Miami. "I don't know if it knocked him over or how hard it did hit him but, him and his friend started chasing the car as it sped away."

The driver abruptly stopped, exited the vehicle, and fired at Isaacs, fatally wounding him. Isaacs' body was discovered a block south of the stadium, a sight later obscured by a tarp but not before being documented by the early hours' newscast. The shooter escaped capture and is currently at large, though the suspect's vehicle has since been found in West Palm Beach, as confirmed by Miami Gardens Police. "He was very much loved," a grieving Skye mentioned in reflection of her lost nephew.
While the family reels from the shock, Skye remains baffled by the senseless nature of the act that snuffed out Isaacs' life. "It was a senseless act," Skye reiterated, lamenting the escalation from a mere traffic incident to a deadly confrontation. Authorities are urging those with knowledge of the shooting to come forward and have directed tips to Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers. "They just didn't want [the driver] hurting anybody else," Skye conveyed, reflecting on her nephew and the horrific end to what was meant to be a night of sportsmanship, according to the family statement released to News 4 Buffalo.
