
Coon Rapids is cracking down on property violations with a new initiative to clean up the city. Officials are calling for proposals for abatement services that deal with public nuisance items and unkempt properties.
The request was recently issued by the City of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and it seeks contractors ready to take on the responsibility of removing trash, securing vacant properties, and taking care of overgrown vegetation, in instances where property owners stay non-compliant following official warnings, according to a statement on the city's website.
Interested service providers are directed to submit their proposal to the Property Maintenance Division by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024.
