Coon Rapids Winter Concert Series Serves Up Melodies and Desserts at Civic CenterSource: Facebook/City of Coon Rapids, MN - Local Government

The winter chill is no match for the warming melodies set to emanate from the Coon Rapids Civic Center this season, as the Coon Rapids Arts Commission serves up its annual Winter Concert Series with a steamy side of dessert and coffee. This year, the established concert series has been condensed from four performances to a trio of musical evenings, each promising a unique auditory journey for attendees.

As reported on the City of Coon Rapids’ Facebook page, the lineup features a flavorful variety of genres beginning on February 8 with The Floras, strumming country and gospel tunes. Next up, the Riverside Rockets will rock ‘n’ roll through the 1950s era on March 14, and finally, Kenny and Friends will close out the series on April 11 with country melodies sure to tug at your heartstrings.

Residents and music enthusiasts are encouraged to mark their calendars for 7 p.m. when melodies will soar through the Civic Center located at 11155 Robinson Drive. With the adult tickets priced at $8, and a sweet deal of $5 for kids 12 and under, the concert series promises an affordable outing for the whole family. The price of admission includes not only the tuneful performances but also dessert and coffee.
