The Federal Bureau of Investigation is on the hunt for a man who stuck up a Wells Fargo bank in Wellington, Florida, while, another thief who robbed a Wells Fargo in Hall County, Georgia, is now in custody, reports say.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office reported that the Wellington heist took place shortly before 1 p.m. at a branch near the Mall at Wellington Green, according to WPTV. The suspect, described as an older Hispanic man, passed a note to the teller and fled with an undisclosed sum of money. No injuries were reported during the incident, deputies said. In Gainesville, after a short-lived manhunt, police apprehended the suspect of a similar crime at another Wells Fargo location, as WSB-TV covered.

In the Hall County case, the Gainesville police revealed that the robber had also used a note to demand cash from the bank located on Browns Bridge Road Tuesday morning. Later that day, Suwanee police identified and pursued a vehicle believed to be linked to the robbery. The chase ended near East Broad Street in Buford, where the driver was arrested.

The identity of the Wellington heist suspect remains unknown while the FBI is lending a hand to the ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, the name of the individual captured in Georgia has not been released by authorities. The arrest followed a coordinated effort between the Suwanee and Gainesville Police Departments, culminating in a failed attempt by the suspect to escape a traffic stop initiated by officers.
