
Houston detectives are on the hunt for clues after a man, assumed to be in his twenties, was found shot to death in a parking lot at 5999 Savoy Drive early Tuesday morning. The victim's body was discovered around 7:05 a.m., lying near a plant shrub and the wall of a building, according to City of Houston News.
The dead man, whose name has yet to be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was found by HPD patrol officers responding to a person down call. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced the male deceased. As of now, the police have not identified any witnesses or suspects in connection with the brutal shooting.
Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen from the HPD Homicide Division are leading the investigation. They urge anyone with information about this case to step forward.
