Music icon Janet Jackson is set to light up the stage in the Valley this July as part of her expansive 2024 'Together Again Tour'. Live Nation announced the new leg of the star's tour, with tickets slated for a brisk sale later this week. After captivating fans last year with her resounding performance alongside Ludacris, Jackson aims to repeat the success with rapper Nelly joining her on this round, as reported in press release sent to ABC15.
The Valley's eager concert-goers can catch the action at Footprint Center on July 30, a venue set to be electrified by Jackson's illustrious selection of hits. Devoted fans and curious newcomers alike will have their first shot at securing tickets with the Live Nation pre-sale beginning "Wednesday, January 17 at 10 a.m. local time," flowing through the week leading up to the general on-sale kick-off on Friday, January 19 at 10 a.m., as reported by ABC15. Adding to the buzz, the talented Nelly is confirmed to feature, promising a special blend of rhythm and groove.
The 'Together Again Tour' has proven to be a mammoth touchstone for Jackson, who last year commemorated her 50 anniversary in the entertainment industry with an inaugural sold-out series of 36 shows. The tour's return not only celebrates a storied career but also shines a light on pivotal albums like “The Velvet Rope,” “Janet,” and “Rhythm Nation,” hitting significant milestones. The Daily News reports that with this tour extension featuring 35 new dates, Jackson is once again proving her indelible mark on the music scene.
California fans are not left out of the equation either, with the tour set to stop at various locales including North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on June 6, Kia Forum on June 8, and the Honda Center on June 9. Live Nation ensures tickets are accessible with a presale on Thursday, Jan. 18 and a widespread release on Friday, Jan. 19. As Janet Jackson prepares to weave her magic into the fabric of these cities, her music lovers are no doubt ready to respond to the rhythm of the beat yet again.
