A grim discovery was made in a Mesa home as police stumbled upon a blood-soaked scene Wednesday afternoon, involving a married couple in what's being investigated as a murder-attempted suicide. FOX 10 Phoenix reports that officers responded to a call near Hawes and Guadalupe Roads around 3 p.m., where they found two people "bloodied and unresponsive."
The wife was pronounced dead before her husband, covered in life-threatening injuries, was rushed to the hospital.
