The registration process is being streamlined through CryWolf Services, an organization the city has partnered with for alarm system registration, payment, and management of false alarm monitoring. Homeowners and businesses are instructed to pay an annual fee of $20 for their registration which can be processed online. On the surveillance front, the Minnetonka Police Department is implementing two voluntary registration programs for residential and commercial camera systems: SafeCam and Neighbors by Ring. These platforms are built to encourage members of the community to share video footage that could be of value in solving property crimes.
