
A woman with distinctive white braces is currently being searched for by the Miramar Police Department after she reportedly snatched a sizeable sum of cash from a local Walgreens cash register, authorities said Saturday, as first reported by Local 10.
The incident took place shortly before 12:45 p.m. at the drugstore situated at 8001 Miramar Parkway. The register was left open and at that point, the woman made her move and took the money. Security footage from the store captured the theft and now serves as a key piece of evidence in identifying the suspect.
Described as a Black female, the suspect was last seen sporting a black top paired with white pants adorned with an unstated pattern, the Miramar Police Department detailed in their statement.
The Miramar Police Department's X further implored anyone who might recognize her to come forward and call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS, assurances have been given that tipsters can remain anonymous and might also qualify for a financial reward should their information prove critical to the woman's arrest.
