Sherburne County bigwigs are set to rub elbows with their peers when they attend the Minnesota Inter-County Association Annual Legislative Forum & Dinner in Winona. The gathering, which is to take place on Feb. 1, will be held at the Riverport Conference & Event Center, according to an announcement from Sherburne County. While it's a chance for the commissioners to network, the county has made it clear that official business isn’t on the menu for the evening.
The majority of the same Commissioners may also appear for a casual lunch gathering on Feb. 6 at Trail’s Grill & Sports Bar in Big Lake. Giving the public a chance to watch their local officials in a more informal setting, no county business will be discussed during the lunch. Attending members of the public will be accommodated, as stated in the announcement released by Sherburne County.
