A car linked to a fatal shooting that ensued after the Miami Dolphins game on Sunday has been recovered in West Palm Beach, police informed. The incident, which involved an exchange of gunfire following a verbal dispute near Northwest 27th Avenue, resulted in the death of 30-year-old Canadian Dylann Isaacs, authorities confirmed.

The shooting occurred as Isaacs and a group of friends were navigating through traffic after attending the game at Hard Rock Stadium, according to Local 10. A verbal altercation with another individual escalated, this led to Isaacs being fatally shot. Post-game festivities tragically marred by violence.

Miami Gardens Police, who are still piecing together the circumstances of the tragic event, found the suspect’s vehicle some distance from the scene. Miami-Dade Crimestoppers has put out a call for any information related to the crime, urging witnesses to step forward with details that could assist in the ongoing investigation. Individuals with knowledge are encouraged to contact them anonymously and may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.

Per WSVN, a GoFundMe page has been established to support Isaacs' family in transporting his body back to Canada. Initial reports suggest Isaacs was a Buffalo Bills fan who had attended the Dolphins game on Sunday. After an attempt by the shooter to hit the group with his vehicle, Isaacs and his friends gave chase, only for the gunman to open fire, striking Isaacs.

Witness Jae Jackson recounted his efforts to comfort Isaacs in his final moments, "All I could do was talk to him. I felt sorry for him being on the ground by himself," Jackson told Local 10. "His girlfriend came over, told him he was strong. At that moment he actually lifted his arm, so there was, like, hope." Miami-Dade Fire Rescue declared Isaacs dead at the scene shortly thereafter.

The investigation into the deadly shooting is active, and law enforcement officials are combing through the evidence to apprehend the individual responsible. Miami Gardens Police are requesting anyone with further information to come forward and contact the department or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
