An adult woman was taken into custody yesterday after a traffic stop on Foxwood Forest Boulevard unveiled her possession of a controlled substance, authorities reported.
Deputy Becerra, from Constable Mark Herman's Office, initially pulled over the woman in the 19800 block of the roadway before she was discovered with the illegal materials. Constable Herman's Office lauded Becerra's work in a brief but affirmative message, "Great work C4!!" as cited on the precinct's Facebook page.
Details surrounding the specifics of the arrest or the controlled substance found have not been released at this time. The identity of the woman has also been withheld. The office encouraged locals to follow their official social media channels for updates on the case.
The precinct's call to action didn't stop with congratulations for the deputy’s recent bust. They further promoted their mobile application “C4 NOW,” which offers live feeds on crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic accidents, and road conditions in the area. This comes as part of an initiative to keep residents in the loop about public safety concerns.
